The Potts Point Partnership is delighted to invite you to join us for a celebration of International Women’s Week at a special networking breakfast.
Joining us for the morning will be several influential and dynamic women from the worlds of media, entertainment and women’s activism, presented by our MC Romany Brooks of Bresic Whitney.
Our charity for the event is Lou’s Place on Victoria Street, Potts Point. Started in 1999 at a terrace in Kings Cross, Lou’s Place is a unique, community-based refuge for women in crisis, feeling isolated or needing support.
Most of the women who visit Lou’s Place have experienced multiple traumas in their lives and the majority are facing issues of homelessness, domestic violence, mental health or addiction. Lou’s Place is Sydney’s only daytime women’s refuge.
Lou’s Place receives no government funding and relies on the generous support of their friends, donors and corporate partners.
There will also be a digital raffle to raise funds for a new house for Lou’s Place – details coming soon – which both attendees and non-attendees may participate in via our online link.
